By Mhellicent Ann Loredo

Many people don't have the idea of what prepaid cell phones are. Prepaid cell phones are basically cell phones that you can purchase anytime and pay for your minutes before you even use them, which make it more beneficial than post paid cell phones.

Prepaid cell phones offer you more benefits than you can imagine. Prepaid cell phones are cheaper than post paid cell phones. You can choose your own phone, may it be a low cost basic phone or a phone with expensive features. You purchase your own minutes before you even use them, which means you can choose minutes you can afford and you are guaranteed not to be charged of minutes you are not going to use.

Prepaid cell phones do not tie you in a contract. No credit checks are run and you are not required to sign an agreement, since you will pay for your minutes before using them. You are given the freedom to enjoy your service the way you want it and if you find yourself dissatisfied with your current cell phone provider, you can switch companies anytime without worrying about termination charges.

Prepaid cell phones do not charge you additional fees. You won't be charged fees you don't know about or fees for exceeding your minutes, since again, you pay for your minutes before you use them. You can talk and text, as long as you want, until your minutes run out, and if that happens, you can simply purchase more minutes.

Prepaid cell phones offer you privacy. With prepaid cell phones, your identity is not stolen from you. Credit checks are not needed, which means, you don't have to give a vital piece of information like your social security number. You can purchase prepaid cell phones without having the fuss of giving out information about your identity, thus, you can keep your privacy.

With all these being considered, there is no argument that prepaid cell phones offer you greater benefits than post paid cell phones.
